Important Announcement

Please note that this manual aims to help you set the dispensing software Redlike 2 correctly. There are some steps which must be taken prior to Redlike 2 installation such as any driver installation and licensing of third-party products. DESO development is not responsible for such applications and cannot provide support for them.

Documentation about other products but Redlike 2 shared here is purely informational and it is only a suggestion for our customers. Other drivers, their versions and instances not described in this document may result in a different behaviour.

Fast & Fluid Using IDD

Prior to Installation

Before you start with Redlike installation, please make sure to have done/checked the following:

  • Computer
    • your PC is fulfilling the minimal requirements for Redlike
    • if the machine is communicating with a serial port, the user must have the rights to communicate with it (Windows as well as Linux)
    • you have Drivers & Tools successfully installed
    • you have a valid IDD file (either IDD2 or IDD4 based on the machine type)
    • your IDD file is running in IDD Test.Net (see below)
    • if you are using IDD2 file, it needs to be licensed

  • Machine
    • your machine has been calibrated and configured
    • your machine has the colorants assigned to the correct canisters, etc.

Driver

IDD2 – for machine types ending with 00 or 50,  e.g. HA 450, HA 650, X-smart…

IDD3 – for machines which work simultaneously (can dispense from all canisters at the same time),  e.g. HP 500… (it is not a part of Drivers and Tools package but should be installed separately)

Where can I get it?

Can be downloaded from My Fast Fluid (02-03 Drivers and Tools 2.7.2.111 (IDD3) for HP.zip (30972Kb)).

IDD4 – for current generation of machines, e.g. HA 180,480,680, Xprotint…
