Please note that this manual aims to help you set the dispensing software Redlike 2 correctly. There are some steps which must be taken prior to Redlike 2 installation such as any driver installation and licensing of third-party products. DESO development is not responsible for such applications and cannot provide support for them.
Documentation about other products but Redlike 2 shared here is purely informational and it is only a suggestion for our customers. Other drivers, their versions and instances not described in this document may result in a different behaviour.
Fast & Fluid Using IDD
Prior to Installation
Before you start with Redlike installation, please make sure to have done/checked the following:
- your PC is fulfilling the minimal requirements for Redlike
- if the machine is communicating with a serial port, the user must have the rights to communicate with it (Windows as well as Linux)
- you have Drivers & Tools successfully installed
- you have a valid IDD file (either IDD2 or IDD4 based on the machine type)
- your IDD file is running in IDD Test.Net (see below)
- if you are using IDD2 file, it needs to be licensed
- your machine has been calibrated and configured
- your machine has the colorants assigned to the correct canisters, etc.
IDD2 – for machine types ending with 00 or 50, e.g. HA 450, HA 650, X-smart…
IDD3 – for machines which work simultaneously (can dispense from all canisters at the same time), e.g. HP 500… (it is not a part of Drivers and Tools package but should be installed separately)
Where can I get it?
Can be downloaded from My Fast Fluid (02-03 Drivers and Tools 126.96.36.199 (IDD3) for HP.zip (30972Kb)).
IDD4 – for current generation of machines, e.g. HA 180,480,680, Xprotint…
Open the package Drivers and Tools (current version 188.8.131.529)
Where can I get it?
To get the package, contact FFM directly or their representatives.

Click on Initialize
The driver has been installed correctly
IDD Test.Net can be closed after clicking on the Shutdown button
(Install Redlike) Run Redlike and click on the user panel in the right bottom corner to log in as admin
Open the left menu

Select Fast & Fluid using IDD as your machine type, set path to IDD file and Save settings
Double-click the Helper icon in the taskbar (similar to Redlike icon) and open Redlike Helper
Restart RCC (Redlike Control Center) by clicking on Stop and afterwards on Start again
Minimise the window and return to Redlike. Here, click on RCC Reconnect in the bottom part of the page
You will see that the machine is connected to Redlike when the initialising bar changes to idle
If you are using IDD2 or IDD3, a new window will show up on the taskbar but it will not open automatically
What if I am using IDD4?
IDD4 does not require any authorization.
Open the window and license your IDD
Where do I get the authorization code?
To obtain the authorization code, contact FFM.
If you do not license the IDD driver, Redlike cannot be used with the connected machine, but only as a simulation (for this option, click on Simulate in the IDD Licensing window)
