RCC (Redlike Control Center) Settings contain all tools you need in order to manage your dispenser and additional devices effectively. You can find it in the left menu.
After each change made and saved in this section, it is necessary to restart RCC so the changes would be effective!
This manual covers the following topics:
- Driver Settings
- Machine Settings
- Machine Settings
- Autotasks
- Spectro Settings
- POS Info
- How to Restart RCC
Driver Settings
Driver is a tool which enables the communication of a tinting software with the machine. There are different types of drivers which depend on the type of machine. The list of all in Redlike supported machines is available here also with manuals for connection settings of each dispenser individually.
Machine Settings
Currently, there are two subsections:
- Machine Settings
- Autotask Settings
Machine Settings – contains various settings connected to the dispenser itself
- Machine options
- Machine unit – decides about the measuring unit of canisters (canister filling, purging and representation in the canister overview), the amount recalculates automatically (some calculations are based on information from the database, such as density)
- Can handling options
- Check can before disense – if enabled, Redlike will ask you prior to dispensing if the can has been placed already and wait until you confirm the placement and/or removal of the can
- Skip place can dialog – disables the possibility to confirm can placement before dispensing process
- Place can sensor – checks the can placement before dispensing
- Place can sensor delay – set in seconds for how long Redlike should wait before asking for the can placement
- Skip remove can dialog – disables the possibility to confirm can removal after dispensing process
- Remove can sensor – chcesk the can removal after dispensing
- Remove can sensor delay – set in seconds for how long Redlike should wait before asking for the can removal
- Dispensing options
- Validate barcode of the base can – Redlike will require barcode validation (scanning or manual) before dispensing; for manual about barcode reader click here
- Validate barcode of the canister before refilling – when refilling colorants, Redlike will ask to have the canister barcode scanned, otherwise filling is not possible
- Check overfill – Redlike will alert you if the amount of the colorant is above the maximal level of the canister
- Minimal dispense amount – Redlike will alert you in case you are trying to dispense a colorant in an amount below the minimal allowed amount which you set here
- TMC
- Enable TMC – enables the transfer of data into TMC
Autotask Settings – contains various tasks connected to the machine maintenance which need to be done automatically; it is possible to set multiple actions at multiple times
- Purge all – purges all channels
- Name – give a title to the action, for example Monday Morning Weekly Purge
- Volume – how much colorant you want to purge
- Start type
- On start – autotask gets started every time Redlike is turned on
- Daily at – defines the exact time at which the autotask will start every day
- Run every – sets an interval at which the autotask will start (starting from the moment it is set)
- Postpone – when Redlike notifies you of the autotask, this option allows you to skip the action
- Enabled – if allowed, the autotask will run automatically; if not allowed, the autotask will be set and ready for later but not “on” – it will not start automatically
- Purge formula – purges only manually set colorants, the purge volume is settable for each colorant
- Brush maintenance – Redlike will instruct you to check on and clean brushes
- Cap maintenance – Redlike will instruct you to check on and clean cap
- Switch plate maintenance – Redlike will instruct you to check on and clean switch plate
- Dispener cleaning – Redlike will instruct you to clean the dispenser
- Humidifier water level maintenance – Redlike will instruct you to check on humidifier
- Refill all – Redlike will instruct you to refill all canisters
- Threshold – up to which capacity is the canister being refilled
- Refill canisters – Redlike will instruct you to refill canisters, it is settable which ones
- Computer reboot – Redlike will ensure the restart of the whole computer
- Computer shutdown – Redlike will ensure the complete shutdown of the whole computer
- autotasks can be added, edited and deleted using the action buttons above the table
- next run – shows the time when the next autotask will take place
Smart Purge Rules – set rules for each colorant individually
- Purge volume – sets how much of colorant is being purged when performing smart purge
- Min dispensed amount – sets how much colorant has to have been dispensed in order to consider the purge done (to avoid additional smart purge)
- Type
- dispense and purge – counts dispensed and purged amounts when valuating if purge is needed
- dispense only – counts only dispensed amounts when valuating if purge is needed
Spectro Settings
Spectrometers are an additional device which can be connected to Redlike. The full list of all in Redlike supported spectros is here. You can also run a spectro as a simulation.
POS Info
POS = Point of Sale
Here, you can supply Redlike with additional information about the point of sale (shop) where the formula has been dispensed. These information can then be printed on the label if the template contains the appropriate variables.
