Redlike Helper is a useful tool which significantly simplifies your work with Redlike and amplifies your Redlike experience. It is installed along with Redlike so you have to worry about nothing and it is extremely simple to use.
Redlike Helper Access
Helper can be accessed easily via taskbar. Open it by double-clicking it.
Redlike Status
This section provides you with information about all Redlike Components installed on the computer, their current Version, and Status. Moreover, it enables you to perform a quick restart of any of the components via the Action part (you can Stop or Start any component at any time).
All possible Redlike components for Windows are:
- Redlike Server
- Redlike Control Center
- Redlike Client
In Linux also:
- TMC Collector
- TMC Transmitter
Helper informs you about the current Database(s) and its/their Version, too.
In the bottom part, there are three buttons, each of which is described below:
- Collect log files
- Options
- Check for updates
Collect Log Files
When an error or a bug occurs, we need to identify what went wrong in Redlike. For this purpose, we need to analyse log files. Whenever something like that happens and we ask you for logs files, simply click on “collect log files” button in Helper, create the pre-defined .zip archive and send it to us.
This helps us with dealing with problems faster and with delivering you your new solution quicker.
Options & Redlike Update
Apart from these informative and simplifying functions, Redlike Helper also gives you the possibility to update the software as well as the database.
There are two steps to do in order to have Redlike successfully updated every time:
- options – opens menu with Update options where you can set your preferred way of Redlike/Database updating
- check for updates – lets you check manually if there have been any new updates available (to the software or the database) and if so, you can download and install them immediately
