Sometimes, less is more. To be true to this belief and to prove it, we bring you our Redlike Light where only the must-haves are present.
Turn me on!
To enable Redlike Light, the following checkbox in the Environment settings needs to be checked:
Check also Run Redlike Light at startup if you want this version to be your primary one and to have it on right after starting the programme.
Once Redlike Light is allowed, you can turn it on in the left menu, it is the very first option.
Progress Step by Step
Redlike Light is incredibly simple to operate as is apparent already from the home screen (to understand the bottom part of the screen, please check our First Touch manual).
You can choose which navigation items will be displayed in full version of Redlike (Environment menu –> Navigation items). There, you can also change the Home button to be any other navigation item.
From here, there are three possible ways to proceed:
1. Type to search
- either you type the name of the colour you want to select, or the beginning of the formula, product, or fandeck – or the initial part of all of them (at least 3 characters)
- this can be done by our virtual keyboard which can be minimised the arrow on the right and pops up automatically when you tap/click into the writing field
2. Select Fandeck/Product
- or you can start by selecting the fandeck or the product first
- to move to the other step, double-click your choice
3. Search by Spectro
- or you can use spectrophotometer (supported devices here) to search the nearest match
- first you need to calibrate your measuring device, then you can start measuring
- follow the instructions in the bottom machine panel
- to see base and product related to the colour, click on the small black arrow next to the colour preview
Whether you choose the desired colour directly or you first go with the fandeck/product/spectro, you will end up (after clicking on “Select color”) at the following detailed screen were you can see:
- the can image of the package (if inserted in the database),
- the preview of the colour;
and where you can specify:
- the volume of the package,
- the number of packages.
Of course, the colour/fandeck/product can be changed at any point by simply clicking on the wished item in the left menu. However, if you change it, you will again have to set the package volume and the number of the packages in here.
Once everything is set, we can proceed to the customer section (but we can also skip it and go directly to the summary). If a customer is already in our list, we can select him directly or filter in the filter field above the menu. If not, we can add a new customer and their phone number easily and directly use the information.
Either selecting a customer or skipping the step, we will proceed to the last screen which is the summary.
Summary is the last screen of the process. Here, we can either dispense the colour, or send it as an order to another computer with a machine connected to it where the colour is going to be dispensed (if the computer is used only for dispensing or only for ordering, it is recommended to disable the other option in Environment settings).
Turn me off!
Apart from the screen buttons on the left, there are only two buttons in the Redlike Light version in the right top corner (but more can be set).
The first is the Home button. This button enables you to always return to the home screen from whatever step you are currently at. After clicking, all progress will be lost. This button can be changed to any other navigation item in full Redlike Environment settings –> Navigation items.
The second is the Menu button. After opening the right menu, you can see all options possible to be performed in Redlike Light and apart from that, it will allow you to minimise/maximise or close the software itself or switch back to the full version.
Options in Redlike Light:
- Switch to Redlike
- Quick Tint
- Spectro
- To dispense
- Canister Level
- History of Orders
- Canister Barcodes
